This Christmas carol sets the latin text 'Ibant magi', which talks about the three Kings' journey to visit the baby Jesus.

I have mixed the Latin and English texts to give the music a sense of two cultures meeting, something I have also attempted to mimic in the harmony, with many diminished intervals, reminiscent of Arabic and Hebrew chant.
